How long does an IBAN bank transfer take?

IBAN transfers can usually take 1-3 working days if the sending bank need to run extra checks. If payment is taking longer, check that the sender entered the correct account information. If they were entered incorrectly, the sender can ask their bank to recover the payment.

If the details were entered correctly, but you still haven’t received your payment after 1-3 working days, we recommend asking the sender to get in touch with their bank.
